It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you're trying to optimize your site using key words like "New York home for sale" then your chances are very low. For the search engines, that's like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.
However, if you optimize your property website using more specific key words like "South Manhattan view home" then your chances are very high. Using neighborhoods and special attributes of a home in your sites content and domain name are a great way to show up near the top of search results.
That being said, make sure to use realistic key words buyers would use in their search. If you optimize your key words using the address of the home your site will show up at the top of Google's search results every time, but buyers are not likely to use it in their search.
